Led by Alexey Pickerell, a seasoned black belt with over 30 years of experience, our gym is a proud member of the Delariva team, one of the most renowned BJJ organizations in the world. We are dedicated to providing high-quality instruction in a supportive and inclusive environment, helping students of all ages and skill levels achieve their martial arts goals.

Alexey Pickerell began his Jiu Jitsu journey in his hometown of Belém, Brazil and later honed his skills in Rio de Janeiro, a global hub for BJJ. In 2007, he brought his passion for the art to the United States, where he has been teaching and mentoring students ever since. Alexey’s approach to teaching is deeply rooted in the traditional values of discipline, respect, and perseverance, while also embracing modern techniques and training methodologies.
